🐾 We had some very special visitors today! Montgomery County Animal Shelter stopped by with puppies, and the snuggles were the best therapy sessions ever for our teachers. Thank you for spreading so much joy—please come visit us again! 💕

🥶❄️ Huge shout-out to our assistant principals for handing out Spotlight badges this morning in 20-degree “feels like” weather. Absolutely nothing gets in the way of making our Spotlight Ceremony successful and right on plan. Thank you for always going above and beyond! 🌟👏

✨ Congratulations to our Spotlight Ceremony recipients for Courage! Thank you for being such a powerful example of bravery and leadership for others. A special shout-out to our amazing 6th Grade Ambassadors for helping make this Spotlight ceremony such a success—we couldn’t have done it without you! 🌟

All grade levels had an opportunity to experience a session with Troy Cummings today.  He was interactive, shared with students about illustrating, brainstorming writing ideas and he issues them a challenge.  If you purchased a book for Troy to sign those will be delivered to students over the next 2 days.  He signed over 200 books today between his sessions!

🐝 Coulson Tough’s VERY FIRST Annual Spelling Bee! 🐝

Last night, we wrapped up an exciting final round of our spelling bee, and drumroll please 🥁…

🎉 Congratulations to our winner, a 5th grader Michael! 🎉

We are so proud of all our students who participated and showed courage, focus, and determination.

A huge THANK YOU to all of our volunteers who helped make this event so successful. We couldn’t have done it without you! 💙

What an amazing night and a wonderful start to a new Coulson Tough tradition!

These 6th grade Titan musicians represented Coulson Tough very well this weekend at the 2026 6th Grade Honor Orchestra and Honor Band Concerts at the newly renovated Bock Auditorium. Mrs. Lee, Mr. Ruano and Mr. Kinsel are very proud of these students who went the extra mile to practice for these special events. Great job Band and Orchestra! 💚🎶

This past Saturday, the Tough teams competed in the district robotics competition.

The Flying Hippos placed first in the BLOCX competition.

At the FIRST Lego League competition, the 4 in the Back team placed 2nd in the Robot Performance category. The DREAM team won 1st place in Core Values. This award emphasizes friendly sportsmanship, respect for the contributions of others, teamwork, learning, and community involvement and are part of the FLL commitment to fostering, cultivating, and preserving a culture of unity.

All three teams, The Mission Imbotssible, DREAM team, and 4 in the Back placed in the top teams and will be competing at the regional competition in February.

Congratulations to the team members and coaches!

Conroe ISD campuses and offices will be closed on Monday, January 19, 2026, in observance of Martin Luther King Jr. Day.

Our lost and found area in the front hallway is getting quite full! We have lots of jackets, water bottles, lunch boxes, and other items waiting to be reunited with their owners.

Please take a moment when you’re at the school to stop by and check for any belongings that may look familiar. Thank you for helping us clear the space and bring these items back home where they belong! 💙

We are so proud of all round two participants in Coulson Tough’s first-ever school spelling bee! Each speller demonstrated dedication, perseverance, and courage as they stepped up to the challenge. Your hard work and commitment to learning did not go unnoticed.
A special congratulations to the 20 spellers who advanced to the final bee, which will be held on January 27. We cannot wait to see you take the stage once again!
